About Visemar Line
Visemar Line is a newly constituted ferry company offering a new route connecting Italy, Syria and Egypt. Due to start operating in May, Visemar Line connects the ports of Venice (Italy), Tartous (Syria) and Alexandria (Egypt).
From the initial idea of making a bridge from the North Adriatic Sea to Egypt for fruits and vegetables, Visemar Line .
A joint partnership between the families Visentini and Tositti –has developed a fully fledged weekly ro-pax service from Venice to Tartus (Syria, transit time 68 hours) and to Alexandria (Egypt, transit time 60 hours), scheduled to start as from next 20 May. |

This innovative new route is set to open new avenues to explore by connecting Venice with Tartous and Alexandria thereby allowing travelling onwards to Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and other Middle East destinations.
The trade will be operated by Visemar One – a new building by Visentini’s shipyard in Porto Viro (Rovigo) – which is capable of 200 trucks, 80 cars and 400 passengers at 24 knots max speed.

OnBoard Services
The brand new Visemar Line route is operated by a brand new ship as well, the Visentini class, capable of reaching a service speed of up to 24 knots.
Visentini class ship has a capacity of carrying up to 400 passengers and a number of vehicles including 2850 lane meters for freight.
This brand new ship is also equipped with a number of well appointed cabins and a wide range of other facilities onboard to make your crossing a pleasant experience. |
